HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team persevered through adverse weather conditions, and
Laura Hasani scored in the game's 109th minute to push the Chargers to a 1-0 win over visiting Union in constant rainfall at the Merrimack Soccer Complex. UAH improves to 5-8-1 (3-6-0 Gulf South Conference), while the Bulldogs fall to 2-9-0 (1-7-0 GSC).

-After the two teams had played more than 108 minutes without a score, the Chargers made all that time spent in the rain well worth it when
Laura Hasani pushed it past the Union keeper in the 109th minute to spark a wild celebration as UAH won it 1-0.

-This is UAH's first overtime win since defeating Valdosta State 1-0 on Sept. 16, 2016.
-The Chargers are now 8-2 against Union since the Bulldogs joined the GSC in 2012.
