UAH Wins in Four Sets at Lee on Friday

CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win (21-25, 25-13, 25-14, 25-22) on the road at Lee on Friday night in a Gulf South Conference matchup. UAH improves to 10-5 (3-1 GSC), while LU slides to 6-8 (0-3 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- The Chargers turned in dominant 25-13 and 25-14 wins in the second and third frames, respectively, to take a 2-1 lead on the way to the 3-1 victory.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Isabelle Barnes paced the Chargers offense with a team-high 17 kills on a .400 hitting percentage while also posting five digs and five total blocks.
- Abby Brooks finished second on the squad with 12 kills, followed by Molly Presnell with eight successful swats.
- Brooks also had 10 digs on the night for a double-double in the win.
- Presnell was tied for third on the squad with 11 digs.
- Shayla Libby anchored the defense with a roster-best 23 digs.
- Sabrina Duncan also had a double-double in the contest with a team-high 35 assists to go along with 11 digs.
