UAH Takes Friday Matchup at West Georgia in Four Sets

CARROLLTON, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team went on the road for a 3-1 win (25-21, 25-22, 14-25, 25-20) over West Georgia on Friday evening in a Gulf South Conference matchup. UAH improves to 19-7 (9-1 GSC), while UWG dips to 14-10 (8-2 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- The Chargers clinched the four-set win over the Wolves after outscoring the hosts 9-4 to close out the victory-sealing 25-20 win in the fourth set.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Ali Lowe paced the Chargers offense with a team-high 10 kills and a .562 hitting percentage in addition to posting three total blocks defensively.
- Isabelle Barnes, Molly Presnell and Kendall Scharbert each posted nine kills in the victory with hitting percentages of .275 or higher.
- Scharbert generated a team-high seven total blocks, and she was followed by Barnes with four total blocks.
