HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball program and head coach Dr. Cade Smith announced the signing of three student-athletes for the 2020-21 academic year.
 
The Chargers signees for next season include Gracie McGee, Paris Morris and Olivia Stark. A full breakdown of the additions for 2020-21 can be found below.
 
Gracie McGee
Hometown: Jonesboro, Ark.
High School: Valley View
Club Team: Arkansas Juniors Storm
Height: 5-10
Position: Outside Hitter
 
Smith on McGee: "I have watched Gracie for a long time. She is a great, six-rotation player with excellent ball control.  Valley View has been in 17 state championship matches in a row, and she has been on multiple state championship teams, including being State Tournament MVP this year.  Among many awards, she was recently recognized as Honorable Mention All-American on the 2019 Under Armour team.  I am excited to see what she can do as a Charger."
 
Paris Morris
Hometown: Birmingham, Ala.
High School: Spain Park
Club Team: NASA Volleyball Club
Height: 5-10
Position: Middle Blocker
 
Smith on Morris: "Paris has really impressed me as a high school and club player. She has played as a pin for her high school but I think she will be an impact player as a middle blocker for us.  She had a great career at Spain Park and was recognized on the All-OTM team this year.  I think she has a chance to come in a contribute right away. We are lucky to have her joining the UAH volleyball program."
 
Olivia Stark
Hometown: Birmingham, Ala.
High School: Spain Park
Club Team: West Florida Waves Volleyball Club
Height: 6-0
Position: Middle Blocker
 
Smith on Stark: "Olivia came to camp last year and really impressed us. She has good length as a middle and I think that she still has a great capacity for growth as a player. She, like Paris, had a great career at Spain Park and I think she will come in a compete for playing time as a freshman. I expect big things for her as a Charger."
