UAH Wins Saturday Matchup at CBU in Five Sets

MEMPHIS, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville wrapped up the weekend's road swing with a 3-2 win (25-21, 20-25, 25-17, 15-25, 15-12) at Christian Brothers on Saturday afternoon in a Gulf South Conference matchup. UAH improves to 22-8 (12-2 GSC), while CBU dips to 6-24 (3-11 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- The Chargers scored four of the final five points in the fifth set to take the frame 15-12 which clinched the five-set victory for UAH on Saturday.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Isabelle Barnes and Abby Brooks shared the team lead on offense with 14 kills apiece, with Brooks owning a team-high .379 hitting percentage followed by Barnes' .367 swing rate.
- Brooks nearly notched a double-double with eight digs, which ranked fourth on the squad on Saturday.
- Molly Presnell and Kennedy Sellers guided the defense with 11 digs apiece in the win.
- Presnell added eight kills to rate fourth on the squad.
- Kendall Scharbert ranked second on the team with 13 kills and four total blocks.
