ANDERSON, S.C. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team opened up a three-game nonconference series at Anderson on Saturday with a 7-1 win and a 6-3 loss at Memorial Stadium. UAH moves to 2-3, while AU stands at 4-3.

Game-Changer
- After Anderson had a 1-0 lead following the first inning, UAH proceeded to outscore the Trojans 7-0 in the final eight innings for a 7-1 win to open the three-game series.
 
Scoring Breakdown
- After one run by the Trojans in the first, UAH was able to take a 2-1 lead in the third inning on an RBI double by Tyler McCown who later scored on a sacrifice fly in the frame.
- UAH added one run in the sixth on an error, before Nolan Ramsey delivered a two-run double down the right field line in the seventh to make it 5-1 Chargers.
- The Chargers scored one run apiece in the eighth and ninth innings on errors by the Trojans to bring the game to its 7-1 final score.

Game-Changer
- UAH took a 2-0 lead with two runs in the top of the first, but Anderson responded with a trio of runs in the bottom half and would not relinquish the lead on the way to topping the Chargers 6-3 in the night cap on Saturday.
 
Scoring Breakdown
-  The Chargers took a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Palmer Ford drew a bases-loaded walk followed by a hit-by-pitch to Malave Bettinger also with the bases loaded.
- Anderson put together a three-run bottom half of the first on a two-run double by Dillon Carpenter and a one-RBI double by Chandler Castleberry to make it 3-2 Trojans.
- Anderson went on to add two runs in the third on RBI singles to extend the lead to 5-2.
- UAH cut the AU advantage to 5-3 on a RBI single by Garrett Bodine in the top of the fourth, but the Trojans responded in the bottom half with one run of their own to bring the game to its 6-3 final score.
