UAH Splits Doubleheader Sunday Against Lee at Charger Park

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team split a doubleheader against Lee on Sunday afternoon at Charger Park to open a three-game Gulf South Conference series, as the Flames won the opener 9-4 before the Chargers took the night cap 8-2. UAH moves to 13-8 (5-3), while LU now stands at 11-10 (4-3 GSC).

Game-Changer
- Lee received a dominant relief performance by Taylor Workman with 3.1 scoreless innings, coupled with three-run rallies by the Flames in the seventh and ninth innings, which helped the visitors to a 9-4 win in game one on Sunday.
 
Scoring Breakdown
- The Flames were first on the board in game one of the series with a solo home run to right field by Miguel Pimentel.
- UAH took a 2-1 lead in the top of the second with RBI base hits by both Nolan Ramsey and Jack Stamper in the frame.

- Lee evened the game at 2-2 with a pair of runs of their own in the top of the third, but UAH responded with a three-run bottom of the third to regain a 5-2 advantage.
