CARROLLTON, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team was edged 7-6 by West Georgia on Sunday afternoon in the final game of a three-game Gulf South Conference series. UAH dips to 14-11 (5-6 GSC), while UWG rises to 10-15 (7-8 GSC).
 
Game-Changer
- With the score tied 6-6 entering the bottom of the ninth, West Georgia proceeded to load the bases and win the series finale 7-6 on an RBI single up the middle by Logan Tyler.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Malave Bettinger led the Chargers offense with a 3-for-5 performance with one run scored and one RBI.
- Drake Hollingsworth registered a team-high two RBI while going 1-for-2 with one run scored and a roster-best two walks.
- Tyler McCown joined Bettinger with a multi-hit performance, going 2-for-3 with one run and a walk out of the lead-off spot.
