NEW ORLEANS | The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its first outdoor rankings of the 2019 campaign, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's squad earned No. 10 nationally while the men's team ranks No. 16 in the nation.

The Chargers women's squad features a total of six marks in the top 10 in NCAA Division II, including
Angel Mobley (1st, 10,000 meter),
Jade Johnson (5th, triple jump),
Erin Jewell (6th, shot put/10th, discus),
Lauren Clark (9th, hammer throw), and the team of
Ty'auna Ferguson, Jariyn Russell,
Molly Parker and
Jania Williams (7th, 4x100Â meter).

On the men's side, UAH ranks in the top 10 in NCAA Division II in three events, which includes
Trevian Jenkins (5th, 200 meter),
Harold Lacroix (2nd, 10,000 meter), and
Tyrique Davis-Giles (10th, 100 meter). Additionally, the men's team has 14 marks in the top 25 of an event in the nation.
