UAH Splits Doubleheader Wednesday with Spring Hill at Charger Park

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team split a nonconference doubleheader against Spring Hill on Wednesday afternoon at Charger Park, as the Chargers won game one 11-4 before the Badgers took the night cap 10-9. UAH moves to 12-7, while SHC now stands at 4-9.

- UAH and Lee have pushed the upcoming series at Charger Park to be a doubleheader Sunday at 2 p.m. before a single game Monday at 1 p.m. to wrap up the three-game set.

Game-Changer
- The UAH bats were electric in the game one win on Wednesday afternoon as Malave Bettinger, Drake Hollingsworth and Dorien Jenkins had three hits apiece in the contest to help the squad to 14 hits on the day and a dominant 11-4 victory.

- UAH totaled 14 hits in the victory, paced by Bettinger, Hollingsworth and Jenkins who each went 3-for-3 at the plate.
