CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team fell on the road on Saturday, dropping a 70-47 decision at No. 9 Lee. The Chargers slip to 7-7 (4-4 Gulf South Conference), while the Flames improve to 15-1 (7-1 GSC).
 
Turning Point
-The hosts started the contest strong, building up a 24-8 advantage at the end of the first quarter on their way to the victory.
 
Inside the Box Score
-Alexis Woods was the lone Charger to reach double figures as she finished the afternoon going 4-for-5 from the floor to score 10 in addition to grabbing five rebounds and collecting a pair of steals.
-Narrowly missing out on a double-double was Aryn Sanders who grabbed a team-best 10 rebounds to go along with nine points and four steals.
-Both Selena Pruitt and Katie Speegle led the Chargers with three assists.
-For the contest, UAH was held to a 33.3 percent shooting mark, while Lee connected on 47.4 percent of its shots.
-The Chargers won the battle on the glass by a 38-33 margin.

-The Flames led by as many as 18 in the first quarter before taking a 24-8 advantage into the second.
-UAH would hold Lee off the board for nearly two minutes to start the second period, cutting the deficit to just 11, but the home team would grab a 41-19 lead going into the halftime break.
-A 17-8 scoring advantage for Lee in the third produced a 58-27 margin going into the final frame, and in the fourth, UAH would go 7-for-14 from the floor in outscoring the Flames 20-12 to create the 70-47 final.

-Woods has reached double figures in three straight games, shooting 60.0 percent (12-for-20) over that stretch.
-The 33 rebounds for Lee tie its lowest total of the season, and UAH is just the fourth team this season to outrebound the Flames.
