HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team started off the 2020 season at Charger Park on Friday with a dominant 11-1 victory over visiting Augusta in nonconference action. UAH improves to 1-0, while AU slips to 0-1.

Scoring Breakdown
- UAH went on the board first in the bottom of the second on a two-run home run off the bat of Anderson.
- Augusta cut the UAH lead in half with one run in the fourth, but Chargers countered with two runs in the bottom half to make it a 4-1 lead on a sac fly by
Will Acuff and an RBI double by
Garrett Bodine.
- Bettinger made it a 6-1 advantage in the bottom of the sixth on a two-run homer down the rightfield line, as UAH went on to add two more runs for a four-run rally in the frame.
- The Chargers went on to add two runs in the sixth and one in the eighth, which brought the game to its 11-1 final score.
