HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's cross country team enters the 2020 Gulf South Conference Championships this Saturday ranked No. 3 in the nation in the Top 15 Division II Men's Cross Country National Coaches Poll.
 
Colorado School of Mines is currently first overall in the vote with eight first-place tallies, followed by Western Colorado in second, UAH in third, Augusta in fourth and Colorado Christian in sixth.
 
The Chargers are one of two Gulf South Conference teams amongst the top 15 teams in the nation that have currently competed.
 
UAH wrapped up the regular season with a first-place finish – the fourth by the team in 2020 – at the UAB Blazer Gold Race on Oct. 16, as the squad boasted five runners with sub-25-minute times for the first time in program history.
 
The Chargers look ahead to the 2020 Gulf South Conference Men's Cross Country Championships this Saturday at John Hunt Park.
