KENOSHA, Wis. | UAH men's cross country will take the national stage on Saturday morning as the Chargers compete in the NCAA Division II National Championships at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course. The men's 10K championship race is set for 11:15 a.m. CT.
UAH is led by standout runner Ahmed Ibrahim, who has put together one of the most decorated seasons in program history. In 2025, Ibrahim has been named GSC Runner of the Week, the USTFCCCA Division II National Runner of the Week, and earned GSC Runner of the Year after winning the conference championship with a new school record performance.
The Chargers are one of four South Region teams advancing to the national meet, joining Embry-Riddle, Florida Southern, and Lee.
This year's championship field features 34 teams, with qualification determined through regional finishes and at-large selections. The top three teams from each of the eight regions automatically advanced, accounting for 24 qualifying squads, while 10 additional teams were selected at-large. A minimum of 24 individual runners from across the nation also earned spots through automatic and at-large qualification.
UAH looks to build on its strong postseason run after finishing inside the top four at the NCAA South Regional meet and earning an at-large bid in its return to the national championships.
