CLINTON, Miss. | Extending its winning streak to four, The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team cruised to a 67-49 road win at Mississippi College on Saturday. The Chargers improve to 11-8 (8-5 Gulf South Conference), while MC falls to 8-12 (5-9 GSC).

-With the Chargers leading by four at 22-18 at the 6:14 mark of the second quarter, UAH would go on a 12-5 run the rest of the quarter, pushing its lead into double figures at 34-23 at the half where it would remain the rest of the contest.

Holly Harris turned in a strong day, going 8-for-10 from the floor including three 3-pointers on her way to scoring 21 while also collecting four rebounds.

Emiline Payne shot 6-for-10 to score 15 to go along with five boards and four assists, while
Aryn Sanders scored 11 to go with 11 rebounds for a double-double.

Selena Pruitt was also strong on the glass, grabbing 10 rebounds while also handing out a team-high five assists and scoring nine.
-The Chargers shot 48.1 percent while limiting the hosts to a 30.5 percent shooting mark including going just 3-for-15 from downtown.

Emme Willoughby bucket at the buzzer pushing the Chargers into a 17-10 lead.
-The Choctaws would pull back within three just 1:24 in the second stanza, but they would get no closer as the guests expanded their lead to 34-23 when
Katie Speegle hit a shot of her own as time expired at the halftime break.
-UAH would lead by double figures the rest of the way as the margin ballooned to as many as 26 in the third quarter before the Chargers held a 52-34 advantage at the end of the third.

Noteworthy
-This is UAH's first four-game GSC winning streak since the 2015-16 season when the Chargers rattled off four straight with wins over Christian Brothers, North Alabama, Valdosta State, and West Florida from Jan. 11 to Jan. 23.
-Harris matches career high in both points with the 21 which she set earlier this season against Auburn Montgomery and in field goals as she also had eight against Christian Brothers on Jan. 7 of last year.
-This is the third double-double of the season for Sanders.
-Pruitt has 28 rebounds in the team's last three games, upping her rebounding average to 5.6 per contest.
