MEMPHIS | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's basketball team made it a season sweep of Christian Brothers, going on the road and winning 91-82 on Saturday. The Chargers improve to 21-5 (13-5 Gulf South Conference), while CBU slips to 11-16 (7-12 GSC).

-A 15-5 run for the Chargers that concluded near the midway point of the second half allowed UAH to turn a tight contest into a double-figure advantage at 66-53, helping propel UAH to the road win.

Sam Orf led the Chargers on the afternoon, shooting 7-of-13 including four 3-pointers on his way to scoring 23 points of which 18 came in the second half.
-In total the guests had five reach double figures including
Malik Cook-Stroupe who scored 18 to go along with a team-best four assists, while
Max Shulman hit a team-high four 3-pointers to score 14.
-Recording a double-double with a team-best 12 rebounds to go along with 13 points was
JJ Kaplan who also matched Cook-Stroupe with the four assists.

Seth Swalve rounded out the double-figure scorers with a 4-for-6 shooting performance helping him tally 11.
-For the contest, the Chargers shot 55.6 percent overall including 13-for-26 from downtown, and after being held to 36.1 percent mark in the second half, CBU shot 42.0 percent as a team.
-UAH enjoyed a 34-32 advantage in rebounding.
-Two key differences in the game came in the paint where the Chargers outscored the hosts 30-14 and from bench production in which UAH's reserves outscored CBU's by a 21-11 margin.

-The first half featured an astonishing 16 lead changes, and it was Christian Brothers that grabbed the biggest lead by either team in the half at 30-24 at the 8:19 mark.
-A 20-10 run for the Chargers over the next seven minutes, however, erased the deficit and pushed UAH ahead 44-40 with less than a minute to go in the half, and the guests would ultimately hold a 44-42 lead at the break.
-A 3-pointer from Swalve would provide the Chargers with a 51-44 advantage less than three minutes into the second half, and after CBU cut the lead down to three, an 11-3 run for the Chargers punctuated by a Cook-Stroupe layup gave UAH a 62-51 advantage with 12:43 left in the game.
-The lead would grow to as many as 13 before CBU pulled back within five, but four free throws from Cook-Stroupe sandwiched around a dagger 3-pointer from Orf helped the Chargers regain that 13-point margin again before a couple late 3s from the hosts created the 91-82 final.

Noteworthy
-The Chargers sealed a home game on Super Tuesday of the opening round of the GSC tournament.
-Orf turns in his first 20-point performance in eight games, and it is the third time this season that he has scored at least 20 in addition to being the fifth time this season he has made at least four 3-pointers.
-This is Kaplan's eighth double-double of the season, and he is now averaging 11.1 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.
