NEWBERRY, S.C. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team opened a three-game nonconference series at No. 15 Newberry with a pair of losses in Saturday's doubleheader by scores of 13-6 and 3-2. UAH dips to 3-2, while NC improves to 6-0.
 
NC 13, UAH 6
Game-Changer
- Newberry put together two rallies late in the series-opener with five runs in the sixth innings followed by four runs in the seventh as the Wolves took the opening matchup 13-6.

- Colin Brewer went 1-for-4 with one run and three RBI, thanks to a three-run home run in the top of the third inning.
- Garrett Bodine also notched an extra-base hit for his lone base knock of the day, which was an RBI double down the left field line in the second.
