HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team has earned the program's third-ever berth to the NCAA tournament as the Chargers earned an at-large selection to the 2020 NCAA Division II South Regional.
 
UAH is the eighth seed and will take on top-seed and host Lee on Friday in Cleveland, Tennessee.
 
Tip-off is slated for 4 p.m. CT.
 
The day's other games include No. 6 seed Benedict against third-seed Tampa, seventh-seed Florida Southern taking on No. 2 seed Union, and No. 4 seed Delta State battling No. 5 seed Eckerd.
 
UAH earns the berth after posting a 19-11 record on the year.
