We were ready to finish this season together and accomplish all of our goals as a team. As our season is cut short, we are adjusting to unexpected changes. It all starts with ourselves.
In tennis, what we do individually on court helps the team as a whole. We ultimately condition, practice, and play as individuals in order to compete together.
During our matches we know that every girl is doing her part on her court. We use this assurance to motivate ourselves and cheer each other on until the end. Together, we are all fighting for the team.
This concept can be applied to our lives today as we deal with this time of uncertainty. We can do our job as individuals in order to make positive change in the world together.
We cannot wait to pick up where we left off and go back on court. We hope that others are staying safe and healthy during this time.
