MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team went on the road for a 3-1 win (25-20, 25-19, 23-25, 25-18) at Auburn Montgomery on Tuesday night in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 18-7 (10-2 GSC), while AUM slips to 16-12 (7-5 GSC).

UAH has now won 10 or more games in GSC play in four straight seasons after improving to 10-2 in the conference schedule on Tuesday.

Freshman
Gracie McGee led the Chargers offense in the four-set win at AUM with a team-high 13 kills, followed by
Kendall Scharbert with 12 successful swats.

Scharbert additionally paced the defense with nine total blocks, including four solo blocks on Tuesday.

Molly Presnell posted a team-leading 17 digs against the Warhawks to go along with seven kills to tie for second on the team on Tuesday with
Zharia Hubbard. Hubbard owned a .350 hitting percentage on her seven kills to lead the team at AUM.

Sabrina Duncan had a stellar all-around performance with 37 assists, 13 digs, two service aces and three total blocks. She now has seven double-doubles with assists and digs in 2021.

UAH put together a key 6-1 run late in the first set to lead the team to a match-opening 25-20 win, which was followed up by a 25-19 win in the second to extend the lead to 2-0.

Auburn Montgomery came from behind for a 25-23 win in the third to cut the lead, prior to the Chargers cruising through the fourth by a score of 25-17 to seal the four-set victory on Tuesday.
