JACKSON, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team fought to the very end but ultimately fell on Saturday night, dropping a 63-59 decision at Union. The Chargers slip to 8-6 (8-6 Gulf South Conference) with the setback, while UU improves to 13-4 (13-4 GSC).

-After the Chargers went on an 11-0 run that saw a
Holly Harris 3-pointer push the Chargers in front and an
Alexis Woods free throw made it a 59-57 lead for the guests with 1:24 left in the game, but Union would score the final six points to secure the win.
