JACKSON, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team fought to the very end but ultimately fell on Saturday night, dropping a 63-59 decision at Union. The Chargers slip to 8-6 (8-6 Gulf South Conference) with the setback, while UU improves to 13-4 (13-4 GSC).
 
Turning Point
-After the Chargers went on an 11-0 run that saw a Holly Harris 3-pointer push the Chargers in front and an Alexis Woods free throw made it a 59-57 lead for the guests with 1:24 left in the game, but Union would score the final six points to secure the win.
 
Inside the Box Score
-The Chargers had three reach double figures, led by Sloan Mann who knocked down five 3-pointers on her way to scoring 17.
-Selena Pruitt recorded a double-double in the game, scoring 12 while snagging a team-high 10 rebounds.
-Rounding out UAH's double-figures contingent, Alex Woods chipped in with 11 while also gathering eight rebounds.

-The double-double is the second of Pruitt's career, and her first since Jan. 25 of last year when she had 15 and 11 against Mississippi College.
-The 11 made 3-pointers represent a season-best for the Chargers.
