CARROLLTON, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team wrapped up a three-game Gulf South Conference series at West Georgia with a 20-16 win on Sunday afternoon. UAH improves to 4-5 (4-5 GSC), while UWG dips to 4-5 (4-5 GSC).
 
Game-Changer
-The Chargers recorded a total of 13 extra-base hits in Sunday afternoon's slugfest that included seven doubles and six home runs as UAH went on to win 20-16 on Sunday.
 
Inside the Box Score
-UAH amassed 24 total base hits against West Georgia on Sunday, led by Zach Duvall who went 5-for-7 with four runs, three RBI, two home runs and one double.
-Both Colin Brewer and Landon Ezzell registered four base hits in the win, as Brewer posted a team-high five RBI followed by Ezzell with four.
-The Chargers six home runs on Sunday came from Brewer, Duvall twice, John Trousdale, Griffin Rivers, and Brett Barbee.
-Ezzell posted two doubles in his four-hit performance, while Brewer, Duvall, Rivers, Carson Villalta and Barbee had one double apiece.
-Eight different Chargers had multi-hit performances while six UAH players had two RBI or more.
-Trousdale and Rivers had two stolen bases each.
-Kody Keiser started on the mound for the Chargers, turning in 1.2 innings with four runs allowed for a no-decision.
-Brooks Brophy earned the win in relief to improve to 1-0 on the season, after tossing 4.1 innings with four runs allowed.
 
Noteworthy
-This is UAH's second GSC series win this season.
-UAH's six home runs are the most by the program in a single game since March 25, 2015 against Lincoln Memorial.
-Duvall now has seven career home runs.
