PENSACOLA, Fla. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team opened a three-game Gulf South Conference series at West Florida with a doubleheader split on Saturday as the Argos won game one 4-1 before the Chargers took game two 12-1 in seven innings. UAH moves to 5-7 (5-6 GSC), while UWF sits at 7-4 (7-4 GSC).

Game-Changer
-West Florida's starting pitcher Ryan Brewer led the way for the Argos in game one with 8.2 innings with one run allowed as UWF won game one on Saturday 4-1.

-Garrett Bodine led the Chargers at the plate in game two on Saturday, going 3-for-4 out of the lead-off spot with two runs, three RBI and a home run. Bodine's homer was a two-run shot in the bottom of the fifth.
-Tyler McCown accrued a team-high four RBI in a 2-for-4 performance at the plate. One of his two base hits went for a triple.
-Landon Ezzell tied with Bodine with three base hits to pace the roster, as the Ezzell also scored two runs. Both Bodine and Ezzell had one stolen base as well.
