MONTEVALLO, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team fell to Montevallo in a rain-shortened, seven-inning game by a final score of 10-6 on Saturday afternoon to wrap up the three-game Gulf South Conference road series. UAH dips to 2-1 (2-1 GSC), while UM improves to 1-2 (1-2 GSC).

Game-Changer
-After a six-run bottom of the first to take a 6-4 lead, Montevallo added another rally in the second with three runs in the frame which cushioned the hosts lead as the Falcons went on to win 10-6 in the series finale.

Colin Brewer led the Chargers at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a team-high three RBI and two runs scored.
-All three of Brewer's base hits went for extra bases as he accrued two doubles and one homer on the day.

-Bodine tied with Brewer for the team lead in runs with two, as he also notched a triple in the game.

-Montevallo responded with six runs in the bottom half to take a 6-4 lead, which UAH was able to cut to 6-5 in the top of the second when Bodine scored on a
Tyler McCown groundout.
-The Falcons pushed across three runs in the bottom of the second to lead 9-5, and they would increase the lead to 10-5 with a single run in the fourth.
-Brewer smacked a home run down the leftfield line in the top of the fifth to make it a four-run deficit, but Montevallo would hold on for the 10-6 win after the game was called in the seventh due to rain.
