MEMPHIS, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win (25-18, 25-14, 25-17) at Christian Brothers on Friday night in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 2-1 (2-1 GSC), while CBU dips to 0-3 (0-3 GSC).
 
Turning Point
-The Chargers took the first lead with a 25-18 win in the first set and the squad would not look back winning the ensuing two frames for the three-set win over the Bucs on Friday.
 
Inside the Box Score
-Kendall Scharbert notched a roster-best 14 kills and a .520 hitting percentage in the victory, while also adding two aces, five digs and one total block.
-Abby Brooks rated second on the roster with eight kills in addition to recording a team-high 12 digs on Friday.
-Sabrina Duncan posted a team-high 15 assists, followed by Katie Sharp with nine helpers. Duncan additionally had five digs.
-Molly Presnell rated second on the team with 10 digs while recording three kills with a .300 hitting percentage.
-Shayla Libby added nine digs and two service aces. Her two service aces tied with Scharbert for the team lead.
-UAH accumulated a .246 hitting percentage as a team, while limiting CBU to a .038 team swing rate.
-Only one of the Chargers attacks on Friday was blocked by the Buccaneers.
