CLINTON, Miss. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team opened up the 2021 spring schedule with a 3-2 win (25-23, 16-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-8) on Saturday afternoon at Mississippi College in a Gulf South Conference matchup. UAH improves to 1-0 (1-0 GSC), while MC dips to 3-1 (1-1 GSC).

-After UAH forced a fifth set with a 25-21 win in the fourth, the Chargers opened up the final frame with three straight points and the squad would not relinquish the lead on the way to taking the fifth 15-8 for the 3-2 victory.

Abby Brooks posted a team-best 18 kills on a .310 hitting percentage, as she also notched a double-double with 10 digs in the win.
