Josh Campbell scored in the final minute of the game, giving The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse a big 12-11 home win over visiting Lander on Saturday afternoon at Charger Park. The Chargers improve to 4-6 (2-2 Peach Belt Conference) with the victory, while the Bearcats fall to 5-4 (2-2 PBC).

Game Changer
-With the game tied at 11-11, Campbell would score the last of three fourth-quarter goals for the junior with just 38 seconds remaining in regulation to give the Chargers the triumph.

Brody Phillips matched Campbell with three goals while also adding an assist for a team-best four points.

Inside the Flow
-UAH scored the first two goals of the game as Phillips and
Jake LeVette tallied in the first 5:05 of the game before Lander got a pair to tie the game at 2-2 at the 5:22 mark of the first quarter.
-Deno would put the Chargers back ahead at 3-2, but a goal for the guests in the final minute of the opening quarter would level the contest at 3-3.
-The Bearcats then scored the first three goals of the second, going in front 6-3 at the 6:35 mark, but Phillips and Weaver would score in rapid succession less than a minute later to create a 6-5 score at the half.
-Lander tallied the first four of the third quarter, building up a 10-5 advantage by the 7:06 mark of the period, but Hendrickson and Stevens would score the only other two goals of the quarter to chip away at the deficit while creating a 10-7 lead going into the fourth.
-Ultimately it would be five unanswered for the Chargers as Phillips scored only 18 seconds into the fourth before Weaver and Campbell would strike to create a 10-10 deadlock with 8:12 remaining.
-The guests would slide back in front with 3:30 left in the game, but the Chargers answered 35 seconds later as Campbell made it 11-11.
-With Lander in possession and under two minutes left in the game,
Connor Evers would cause a turnover, giving UAH the ball and helping lead to Campbell's game-winner in the final minute.

-Phillips now has 18 goals and 17 assists for a team-best 35 points on the year.
-Campbell moves into double figures in goals with 12, and eight of those have come in the two games against Lander.
-The 51 ground balls are the fourth-most by a team in the PBC this season.
