MONTEVALLO, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team traveled to Montevallo on Saturday, falling 13-11 in a Peach Belt Conference contest. The Chargers slip to 4-7 (2-3 PBC), while UM improves to 8-4 (5-0 PBC).

Turning Point
-A five-goal spurt in the late second and early third turned a 7-5 deficit into a 10-7 advantage that Montevallo would not give up the rest of the way.

Inside the Flow
-After Montevallo opened the scoring less than a minute into the game, the Chargers would respond with goals by Cambpell, Light, and Utrevis to take a 3-1 lead at the 5:15 mark of the opening quarter.
-The teams would then trade goals with a pair of UM scores sandwiching a tally from Phillips to make it 4-3 in favor of UAH going into the second.
-The Chargers scored three of the first five of the second with LeVette's score putting the guests ahead 7-5 with 6:51 left until the half, but UM would score twice in the final 3:55 to tie it up at 7-7.
-The first three goals of the third quarter belonged to the Falcons, and though Vender and Campbell would score later in the frame, the hosts held an 11-9 advantage going into the last quarter.
-The Falcons went up 12-9 just over a minute into the fourth before Utrevis made it a two-goal game once against with just under eight minutes left, but Montevallo would get another goal of their own and limit UAH to just Stuber's goal with 1:20 remaining in the contest to seal the 13-11 decision.

-Phillips now has 37 points on the year thanks to his 19 goals and team-best 18 assists.
-Stuber is in second on the team with 32 ground balls on the season.
