Box Score 2 HUNTSVILLE | In its first of two battles against top-10 teams in the next four days, the No. 15 University of Alabama in Huntsville softball team went on the road and split with No. 9 Young Harris on Sunday, winning 5-3 in the day's first game before falling 12-2 in the nightcap. The Chargers are now 21-8, while the Mountain Lions are 22-7.

-UAH opened the scoring with a three-run second that saw Green hit a two-run single and Cornell drive in another with a base hit of her own to give the Chargers a 3-0 lead.
-An inning later in the home half of the third, Young Harris would have a three-run inning of their own to tie the game at 3-3, but Green would put the visitors back in front with her double that plated Malone to make it a 4-3 advantage.
-UAH would earn some insurance on Young's infield single in the fifth that drove in
Kiara Akles to create what would ultimately be the 5-3 final.
