HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team wrapped up a three-game Gulf South Conference series with No. 22 Shorter on Saturday afternoon with a 4-3 win in 10 innings at Charger Park. UAH improves to 14-14 (12-12 GSC), while SU dips to 22-11 (19-11 GSC).
 
Game-Changer
-John Trousdale's walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the tenth gave UAH the 4-3 victory in extra innings and also the series win, after Shorter evened the contest at 3-3 in the seventh.
 
Inside the Box Score
-Trousdale led the Chargers with three base hits on Friday to go along with one RBI.
-Landon Ezzell also had a multi-hit performance, going 2-for-3 with one run and two RBI, as he notched a solo home run to right-center in the bottom of the third.
-Garrett Bodine, Jeff Hunter and Will Acuff each drew a walk.
-The Chargers recorded nine base hits as a team, with six different players notching hits in the game.
-Kody Keiser started on the mound for the Chargers, as he twirled 6.2 innings with zero earned runs allowed, one walk and six strikeouts.
-Heath Senn earned the win in relief after tossing a scoreless 10th inning with one hit allowed.
-Parker Henson provided a key 2.0 shutout innings out of the bullpen with two strikeouts and zero hits allowed.
 
Noteworthy
-UAH has now won five GSC series in 2021.
-Ezzell's home run was his second of the season, as seven Chargers now have two homers or more in 2021.
