UAH Splits Doubleheader Friday with Trevecca Nazarene

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team split a doubleheader on Friday at Charger Park in nonconference action against Trevecca Nazarene as TNU took game one 10-2 before UAH won the night cap 5-4. UAH moves to 12-13, while TNU sits at 14-6.

-UAH is back at Charger Park next Friday and Saturday in Gulf South Conference action against Shorter.

Game-Changer
-With Trevecca Nazarene leading 6-2 entering the sixth, the Trojans extended the lead with a four-run rally in the top of the fourth which helped the visitors to the 10-2 win in game one.
 
Inside the Box Score
-The Chargers accrued six base hits in the contest, with four of those hits going for doubles by Zach Duvall, Landon Ezzell, Tyler McCown and Brett Barbee.
-Barbee finished with a team-high two RBI as he notched a two-RBI double down the left field line in the fourth to put UAH on the board.
-Garrett Bodine, John Troudale, McCown and Griffin Rivers each drew a walk.
-Dylan Murphy started on the mound for the Chargers, turning in 1.0 inning with two earned runs allowed and two strikeouts. His record dips to 4-3 with the loss.

-After Trevecca Nazarene took a 4-3 advantage with one run in the top of the ninth, UAH rebounded with two runs in the bottom half to take the nonconference matchup 5-4.

-BJ Bradham connected on a two-run home run to left field as he went 1-for-5 with one run and two RBI.
