BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference unveiled its 2022 Women's Basketball Preseason Release on Wednesday, announcing the league's predicted order of finish, Preseason All-GSC Team, and top newcomers.

In the league's preseason coaches' poll, UAH was voted 10th.

Union led the prognostications with 131 points, followed by Lee at 126 points and Valdosta State at 122.

West Florida (107 points), Christian Brothers (86 points), Mississippi College (78 points), West Alabama (74 points) and Delta State (73 points) rounded out the top eight.

Each of Union (7), Lee (3), Valdosta State (2) and UAH (1) received first place votes.

The Chargers had a pair of newcomers named to the Newcomer Watchlist including freshmen
Haelim Adle (Gainesville, Ga.) and
Andie Flatgard (Ridgeland, Miss.).
UAH officially starts its 2022-23 campaign on the road in the Sunshine State at Saint Leo on Nov. 11, following an exhibition at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall against Alabama A&M on Nov. 2 at 5:30 p.m.
