HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team hosts its final two regular season matches at Charger Park this weekend with contests Friday at 7 p.m. against West Georgia and Sunday at 1 p.m. against Valdosta State.

The Chargers enter this weekend's games on their best run of form this season, as they've earned a positive result in four of their last five games. They've gone 2-1-2 over that span, including a 1-0 win over Union on Senior Night on Sept. 30.

UAH is now 3-6-4 overall and 2-4-3 in GSC play this season, as the squad remains in contention for the GSC postseason with just four points out of being in the top eight of the league with four matches remaining on the schedule.

Junior Carmen Endicott scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season, netting the game tying goal in the second half against Montevallo in a 1-1 draw last Friday.

UAH followed up the tie with another two days later against Auburn Montgomery. In the 0-0 draw, UAH goalkeeper Adriana Wright helped keep the hot streak alive as she recorded three saves to keep a clean sheet for the Chargers.

West Georgia comes to town Friday with a 5-5-3 overall record and a 3-3-3 record in conference play. They are coming off back-to-back draws against Christian Brothers and Union. Hillary Resendiz leads the West Georgia offense with seven points from three goals and one assist, while Haley Brinkman has started twelve games in goal for the Wolves with a .778 save percentage.

Valdosta State enters the weekend with a 3-8-1 overall record that includes a 2-7 GSC record. After demolishing Shorter 8-0 three weeks ago, the Blazers have lost five straight and have been outscored 17-4 in that span. The VSU offense is led by Victoria Barr's eight points from four goals. Emma Pruett has led the Blazer defense from the goal this season, starting nine games thus far with a 0.619 save percentage.

After this weekend, UAH will travel to Shorter on Friday and Lee on Sunday to finish out the season.
