HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Charger Park to visiting Christian Brothers on Sunday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slips to 3-6-2 (2-4-1 GSC), while CBU rises to 7-3-1 (4-2-1 GSC).

Christian Brothers took the edge in the opening half with goals by Marita Cania in the 14th minute and Luisa Velten in the 34th minute, as the Buccaneers would carry the 2-0 lead to the final on Sunday.

The Chargers generated 10 total shots on the contest with two shots going on goal, with
Carmen Endicott and
Olivia Marlow notching one shot on target apiece.

UAH also led in corner-kick opportunities with six to CBU's one in the contest.

Adriana Wright played the full time in goal for the Chargers, turning in two saves against the Bucs.

The Chargers hit the road for two in-state matches next at Montevallo on Friday and Auburn Montgomery on Sunday.
