HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team won Friday night's matchup over Montevallo by a score of 3-0 (25-15, 26-24, 25-13) at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 12-15 (6-7 GSC), while UM dips to 16-12 (8-5 GSC).
The Chargers offense featured a total of six players with four kills or more on Friday night, led by
Gracie McGee's team-best eight kills on the night.

Kiara Hill and Kaila Sisk both had six kills against the Falcons to rate second on the team, with Sisk generating a team-leading .857 hitting percentage.

Tatiana Bonilla guided the defense with 11 digs on the night, followed by
Hailey Holshouser and McGee with six scoops apiece.

Holshouser also notched three service aces to lead the Chargers on Friday.

Savannah Rutledge helped lead the offense with 16 assists, while also adding one kills, two service aces and three digs in an all-around performance.

UAH went ahead in the match in the opening set with a dominant 25-15 win over Montevallo, as the Chargers posted a team .300 hitting percentage in the stanza.

The Chargers came from behind to win the second set 26-24, before putting the Falcons away for good with a 25-13 drubbing in the third to seal the three-set win on Friday.

UAH is back in action on Saturday for Senior Day at Spragins Hall for a match against Shorter. First serve slated for 2 p.m.
