ROMEOVILLE, Ill. | The No. 18 University of Alabama in Huntsville men's cross country team placed sixth in the team standings at the Lewis Crossover on Saturday morning.

The Chargers were led by
Sam Wilhelm for the third time in the 2022 campaign, as the sophomore crossed the finish line 13th overall at a time of 24:26.2.

Wilhelm was joined in the top 25 by
Allan Anderson at a clocking of 24:51.2, with an additional five Chargers recording top-50 times

Also placing in the top 50 for UAH included
Gabe Henneberger (37th, 24:51.2),
Caleb Boys (38th, 24:52.2),
Will Thompson (39th, 24:52.5),
Nate Pohlsander (40th, 24:52.8) and
Nathan Knox (47th, 24:58.5).

Jack Elliott (54th, 25:06.2) and
Jackson Danner (84th, 25:37.9) rounded out the Chargers in the top 100 of the race, as UAH's competitors on Saturday also included
