NASHVILLE, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team dropped Wednesday night's matchup at Trevecca Nazarene by a score of 75-59 in nonconference action. UAH drops to 0-3, while TNU rises to 1-2.

Olivia Howard led the Chargers with a team-high 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists as she went 8-for-8 from the field in a strong all-around performance.

Jesse Jennings joined Howard in double-digit scoring with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor to go along with three rebounds and two assists.

The opening quarter was tightly contested between the Chargers and Trojans, with TNU taking a late 17-15 advantage before the break. The hosts would add four points to their lead in the second quarter for a 35-29 advantage over UAH at the half.

UAH had its strongest offensive performance in the third quarter by shooting 57.1 percent (8-for-14) from the field, but TNU would lead 61-45 heading into the fourth frame.

Both sides put up 14 points in the fourth quarter to bring the game to its 75-59 final score on Wednesday.
