CLINTON, Miss. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's basketball team dropped Sunday's road matchup at Mississippi College by a final score of 92-62 in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 9-3 (5-2 GSC), while MC improves to 7-4 (4-4 GSC).

Three Chargers posted 10 points or more on Sunday, led by
Chaney Johnson's 14 points as he also added five rebounds and a team-high two steals. Johnson additionally played a roster-leading 25 minutes against the Choctaws.

Luke Burnett rated second on the team with 13 points – highlighted by a 3-for-5 mark on three-pointers – while redshirt
Matt Thurman ranked third with a season-best 10 points.

Thurman shot 4-for-5 from the field and 2-for-2 from beyond the arc in a strong offensive performance. The Franklin, Tennessee, native also recorded a team-high six rebounds in an all-around performance.

Mississippi College's offense was strong throughout the contest, shooting 62.7 percent (37-59) from the floor while scoring 46 points in each half on the way to its 92-62 win on Sunday.
