PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team won twice at the Peachtree City Classic on Saturday with a 13-10 rollercoaster win over Cedarville and an 19-3 victory against Clark Atlanta. UAH improves to 2-4 on the 2022 campaign.

UAH 13, Cedarville 10
The Chargers and Yellow Jackets traded leads five times during the back-and-forth 13-10 win by UAH, as the Blue & White sealed the victory on
Jackson Lindsey's grand slam in the bottom of the seventh.

Overall in the contest, UAH posted 16 base hits with six of the Chargers notching multi-hit performances. Lindsey led the Chargers on the day, going 3-for-5 with two homers, six RBI and two runs scored.

Rottier tied with Lindsey with three hits against Cedarville, while
Garrett Bodine,
Daniel McCary,
Colin Brewer and
Landon Ezzell notched two base knocks in the win.

Tyler Self worked 5.0 innings in his start on the mound, registering eight strikeouts and three earned runs in his performance.

Payton Lemons picked up the win in relief to improve to 1-1, after tossing 3.0 innings with one run allowed and three strikeouts.

UAH 11, Clark Atlanta 3
The Chargers started off the second game of the day by sending 12 batters to the plate as part of a nine-run rally on the way to the 19-3 win over the Panthers on Saturday evening.

UAH's offense banged out a total of 13 hits in the victory, as
Daniel McCary led the Chargers by going 4-for-5 with six RBI and five runs scored. Three of his four hits went for extra bases, including one homer and two doubles.

Both
Landon Ezzell and
Brennan Vasquez had two hits to follow McCary, with Ezzell posting two RBI and Vasquez driving in a trio of runs.

Aubry Cleghorn started for the Chargers on the mound, tossing 2.0 innings with three unearned runs allowed and two strikeouts for a no-decision.

Cole Turner picked up the win in relief to improve to 1-0 on the season, as he worked 2.0 scoreless innings with three strikeouts.
