NASHVILLE, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team wrapped up play at the Trevecca Nazarene Thrasher Invitational with a 3-0 victory over Lincoln Memorial followed by a 3-0 loss to host TNU. UAH is now 2-2 in the 2022 campaign.

UAH looks ahead to competing in the Anderson Invitational in Anderson, South Carolina, next Thursday through Saturday with matches against Converse, Texas A&M International, Catawba and Anderson.

UAH 3, LMU 0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-21)
The Chargers started out Saturday with three straight wins by 25-21 scores over the Railsplitters for the three-set victory.

Caroline Moyer led all UAH attackers with 10 kills and a .250 hitting percentage, followed by
Gracie McGee's nine kills and .235 swing rate. Overall, four Chargers had six kills or more in the three-set win.

McGee was also a key contributor on defense with eight digs and two total blocks.

Shayla Libby notched a team-high 14 digs on the defensive end, as a total of six Chargers notched multi-dig performances against Lincoln Memorial.
Zharia Hubbard was also strong defensively with a team-high four total blocks.

Colby Charland posted a roster-leading 18 assists, followed by
Laekyn Bennett with six helpers in the win.

TNU 3, UAH 0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-20)
Trevecca Nazarene compiled a 2-0 lead after wins of 25-12 and 25-16 in the first and second set, respectively, before edging out the third frame 25-20 to complete the 3-0 win over UAH.

Gracie McGee led the Chargers offense with 12 kills, while also adding five digs on the defensive end.
Emma Jarrett rated second on the team with six kills on a roster-best .263 hitting percentage.

Colby Charland generated a double-double in the contest, posting a team-high 15 assists and 11 digs against the Trojans.

Shayla Libby joined Charland in double-digit digs with 10 in the contest, as she has now posted 10 or more digs in four straight matches to start 2022.
