HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville softball senior
Kaylee Vaught was recognized by Extra Inning Softball as one of the 2023 Division II Top 100 players for the upcoming campaign.

An NFCA All-American in 2022, Vaught enters her senior season with a career batting average of .359 to go along with 26 doubles, 16 home runs, 84 runs and 87 RBI through three seasons of her time at UAH.

A native of Pigsah, Alabama, Vaught boasted a career-best .387 batting average in the 2022Â season in addition to 14 doubles, four triples and six home runs across 58 games.

Vaught additionally has garnered Preseason All-Gulf South Conference honors ahead of the beginning of the 2023 campaign this weekend in the Sunshine State.

UAH's opening weekend matchups on the road include stops at Nova Southeastern on Friday, Barry on Saturday and Palm Beach Atlantic on Sunday.
