VALDOSTA, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team fell on the road at Valdosta State by a score of 75-57 on Thursday evening in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 3-12 (3-8 GSC), while VSU improves to 11-2 (10-1 GSC).

Jesse Jennings had a standout performance for the Chargers with a team-high 15 points, as she went 5-for-10 from the floor and 2-for-3 on three-pointers. She also added three rebounds in 15 minutes on the floor.

Andie Flatgard and
Madie Krieger each generated eight points on the night to rate tied for second the on the squad, with Flatgard playing a team-high 36 minutes against the Blazers. Krieger led the Chargers on the boards with five rebounds.

After Valdosta State owned a 14-6 lead after the first quarter, UAH ended the last 1:15 of the second period on a 7-0 run to slim the VSU lead to 28-19 at the half.

The Blazers pushed their lead to 53-35 after the third quarter, and both teams played a fast-paced fourth quarter with both teams posting 22 points to bring the game to its 75-57 final score in favor of Valdosta State.
