MOBILE, Ala. | The UAH women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw at Spring Hill on Friday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action. UAH moves to 8-5-3 (5-4-3 GSC), while SHC's record is now 5-10-2 (2-8-2 GSC).

The Chargers now have 18 conference points ahead of the regular season finale at No. 16 West Florida to rank tied for sixth in the GSC standings. The top eight teams earn berths to the 2023 Gulf South Conference Women's Soccer Championships, which begins with first-round matchups on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the top four seeds' campuses.

CeCe Szopa guided the UAH defense to its fifth shutout of the season, as she made two saves and navigated four corner kicks by the Badgers.

Maria Jensen generated the most scoring opportunities of the match with a game-high four shots on goal in 83 minutes on the pitch.
Jayla Gillespie rated second on the roster with two shots saved in 61 minutes off the bench.

The Chargers defense also benefited from a full 90-minute performance by defenders Clara Anderson and
Morgan Snyder, with the duo headlining a defense that did not allow a shot on goal to SHC in the second half.
