HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's basketball team was tripped up in Gulf South Conference action at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall by visiting West Georgia by a final score of 76-73 on Saturday afternoon. UAH slides to 5-6 (4-4 GSC), while UWG rises to 7-4 (3-4 GSC).

Bellah Machen had a stellar offensive performance for the Chargers with a team-high 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the floor that included a 3-for-6 mark on three-pointers. She additionally posted two steals, two rebounds and one block over 24 minutes on the floor.

A total of four Chargers scored in double-figures on Saturday, as
Bella White (16 points),
Jesse Jennings (15 points) and
Haelim Adle (10 points) each achieved 10 or more points.

White also led the squad with seven rebounds over a team-high 34 minutes on the court.

Overall on Saturday, UAH shot 52.6 percent (30-57) and 33.3 percent (4-12) from beyond the arc. The Chargers held the edge over the Wolves with points in the paint (46-40) and fast-break points (9-8).
