CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The UAH men's basketball team picked up an 84-73 road victory at Lee on Friday night in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 5-3 (3-1 GSC), while LU slides to 5-1 (3-1 GSC).

This was UAH's fourth consecutive victory over Lee, dating back Feb. 12, 2022.

After trailing by two at the half, UAH's offense kicked into high gear in the second half outscoring Lee 49-36 to complete the 84-73 victory on Friday night.

Daniel Saylor posted the first double-double of his career with a 17-point, 10-rebound performance on Friday, as he led the Chargers in both scoring and rebounding in the win. Saylor was efficient from the field going 6-for-7 overall to go along with a 5-of-6 performance on free throws.

Jack Kostel nearly joined Saylor with a double-double on Friday with 17 points, nine rebounds and three assists to help lead the Chargers offense. Kostel – who also added a team-high three steals – has now scored 10 or more points in three straight games.

Two more Chargers went into double-figure scoring on Friday night, including
Tommy Murr at 16 points and
Dane Harding at 10 points.

UAH shot 48.1 percent (25-52) overall at Lee, which includes a 33.3 percent (7-21) mark on three-pointers. The Chargers have scored 80 or more points seven times so far in 2023-24.
