CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The UAH women's basketball team dropped a road Gulf South Conference matchup at Lee by a final score of 69-56 on Friday night. UAH slides to 2-5 (1-3 GSC), while LU improves to 5-2 (4-0 GSC).
 
Junior 
Jesse Jennings led the Chargers with a game-high 27 points as she went 8-for-11 from the field and 11-for-12 on free throws in a stellar offensive performance. She additionally grabbed four rebounds and added one steal defensively in her team-high 34 minutes on the floor.
 
Her 27 points mark a career-high for the Pulaski, Tennessee, native and a season-high for the Blue & White, as her scoring performance ranks sixth in the GSC in a single game this season.
 
Bella White matched her season-high with eight rebounds against the Flames, while also posting one steal defensively.
 
Haelim Adle generated a team-high three steals over 30 minutes on Friday in addition to grabbing four rebounds and dishing out two assists.
 
Elyse Hughes was also strong defensively with a roster-best three blocks, while rating second on the team with six points.
 
The Chargers were successful overall from the free throw line on the night, going 22-for-27 as a team led by Jennings' 11 made free throws. UAH has shot 80 percent or higher from the charity stripe in three consecutive GSC contests, with the team making 16 or more free throws in each of those games.
 
UAH is back in action at Shorter on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT, which will be the program's last regular season trip to Rome, Georgia, with SU as a member of the GSC.
