HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team secured a 15-12 victory on Friday night over regional opponent Saint Leo at Charger Park in nonconference action. UAH improves to 2-1, while SLU slips to 0-2.

The victory marks the first time the Chargers have defeated Saint Leo across six matchups.
Jake LeVette led the Blue & White offense as he scored four goals in the contest in addition to picking up two ground balls. Freshman
Pete Fabrizio tallied three goals while adding two assists and picking up four ground balls in the game.

Josh Campbell and
Bryce Ferraro each scored two goals apiece, while four other Chargers were on the scoresheet to make it eight different UAH goal scorers on the night.

Eight of the 16 goals for Huntsville's Team came in the second quarter, a quarter in which the Lions were outscored 8-2 by UAH.

Will Kastel and
Collin Galinski each notched a team-high five ground balls with Kastel causing a roster-best four turnovers. In total, the UAH defense generated 24 caused turnovers against Saint Leo.
The Chargers are back in action on Sunday to take on Embry-Riddle at 12 p.m. at Charger Park.
