UAH Falls to Embry-Riddle in Nonconference Action at Charger Park

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team was tripped up in nonconference action at Charger Park on Sunday by Embry-Riddle by a final score of 18-10. UAH slides to 2-2, while ERAU improves to 3-2.
 
Senior Brody Phillips led the Chargers offense with three points on two goals and one assist. He has recorded three or more points in three of the first four games, as he paces the UAH offense this season with 13 points from six goals and seven assists.
 
Pete Fabrizio and Bryce Ferraro both added one goal and one assist to the effort, while Will Ford tied with Phillips for the team lead in goals scored with two markers against the Eagles.
 
In total, eight different Chargers scored a goal in the contest.
 
Defensively, Will Kastel generated a team-high four caused turnovers, followed by Collin Galinski with three on the day. Nate Burt picked up a team-high five ground balls, with Alex Dorenkott and Kyle Light both registering four pickups.
 
Dylan Needs played the full time in goal for the Chargers with 11 saves over 60 minutes of action, as he took the loss to slide to 2-2 this season between the pipes.
 
UAH wraps up its five-game homestand to start the 2023 season next Sunday with a visit from Davenport.
