The series was originally slated to start with a single Friday and a doubleheader Saturday, before inclement weather forced the change.

UAH enters the three-game series with Lee with a 6-3 overall record, after the squad went 2-2 at the Charger Chillout in Albertville, Alabama, over the weekend. The Chargers improved from No. 23 to No. 20 in this week's NFCA poll after two weeks of action.

Freshman Katie Bracken earned her first career GSC Pitcher of the Week award for her performances at the Chillout, as she posted 10.2 innings with just two earned runs allowed while striking out 11 batters. This season, she leads the Chargers starting staff with a 1.19 ERA over 17.2 innings to go along with a team-high 21 strikeouts.

Lawren Hayes continues to lead the Chargers with a .556 batting average, .704 slugging percentage, 13 runs and 19 total bases. Her .556 batting average is third in the GSC entering the weekend.

The UAH lineup additionally features five total batters hitting .333 or above to start the season.

Lee starts out the weekend with a 3-6 overall record, after most recently splitting a doubleheader at home against Young Harris on Wednesday. The Flames offense features four batters hitting above .350 led by Sidney Lee at .407, while the LU pitching staff has a 5.95 team ERA.

The Chargers hold a 20-5 all-time record against the Flames.

After this weekend's series, UAH looks ahead to participating in the NFCA DII Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Georgia, from Feb. 24-26.
