HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team dropped the Gulf South Conference series finale to Lee by a final score of 12-6 at Charger Park on Sunday afternoon. UAH slides to 6-5 (1-2 GSC), while LU improves to 5-6 (2-1 GSC).

The Chargers recorded 10 hits in the Sunday tilt, led by
Landon Ezzell and
Carson Villalta who both went 2-for-5 against the Flames. One of Ezzell's two hits went for his third double of the season.

Brock Butler drove in a team-high two runs thanks to a two-run home run as part of a three-run bottom of the fifth. He has hit three home runs in the last four games to now lead the Chargers in round-trippers.

Cole Loftis started on the mound for the Chargers, tossing 3.2 innings with four earned runs allowed and one strikeout. Loftis drops to 0-1 with the loss.

Will Hotalen was the best reliever on the day out of the UAH bullpen, as he worked 2.0 shutout innings with five strikeouts.
